Student Learning and Academic Success (SLAS) is your partner for academic success. Its Downtown HIP Hub is your resource to learn about educational opportunities that will help you succeed at UCF and beyond. You’ll start by meeting with an SLAS Downtown Mentor who is our one-stop appointment to learn more about a variety of opportunities.

High-impact practice (HIP) opportunities blend what you’re learning in the classroom with real-world experiences. HIP opportunities include undergraduate research, studying abroad, internships, learning communities, graduate school preparations, and more.
