Week of Welcome is the bi-annual UCF Downtown and Valencia College Downtown Campus’s official welcome back to campus celebration. Throughout the first week of the Fall and Spring semester, Valencia College and UCF students are welcome to attend a variety of events that are geared toward helping them acclimate to campus and get connected to the downtown community.

Coming to the downtown campus for the first time? Not sure where to go? Wondering what services campus has to offer? Look for the Downtown Campus Locator tents located in the DPAC Seneff Plaza, near the Amelia parking garage, and near the Parramore parking garage! There will be staff waiting to help you find what you are looking for and answer questions you may have.

Our unique downtown campus unites students, faculty, and staff with the love of cuisine. Different countries use food to celebrate special occasions and we want you to celebrate Taste of Downtown with various food trucks. Attendees will also learn more about the culture of the local community and campus resources.

With community service being such a big part of the college experience, it is important for students to know how to find these opportunities. In this lunch & learn workshop, students will learn about service opportunities at the Downtown Campus and how they can get involved throughout the year.
Experience the exciting atmosphere of an Orlando City soccer game! A limited number of free tickets will be available for students. Attend the It Happens Downtown: Resource and Student Organization Fair on Wednesday, August 25 for your chance to win!
There will be a very limited number of standby tickets available the day of the game that will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Check-in for the standby list will begin at 6:30 PM on the second floor of UnionWest. You must bring your student ID.
