Weeks of Welcome is the bi-annual UCF Downtown and Valencia College Downtown Campus’s official welcome back to campus celebration. Throughout the first two week of the Fall and Spring semester, Valencia College and UCF students are welcome to attend a variety of events that are geared toward helping them acclimate to campus and get connected to the downtown community.

Coming to the downtown campus for the first time? Not sure where to go? Wondering what services campus has to offer? Look for the Downtown Campus Locator tents located in the DPAC Seneff Plaza and near the Parramore parking garage! There will be staff waiting to help you find what you are looking for and answer questions you may have.
Welcome back downtown students! Stop by the DPAC East Lobby (the side with the campus store) to meet all the downtown resources available to support your well-being.

Student Engagement presents to you Speed Friending. This event is an amazing networking opportunity where Downtown Campus students can get to know one another by answering fun questions. SNAP stands for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. This program is federally funded and provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of individuals who may not make enough money to eat healthy consistently. Come learn more about SNAP at our monthly tabling event.
Join the Multicultural Student Center for their Annual Taste UCF event- where students can get a variety of free foods, see amazing performances and engage with Cultural RSOs!
This event is located at the Addition Financial Arena on the UCF Main Campus
Join us for Open Bouldering Night at Blue Swan Boulders for FREE! Bouldering is a unique challenge, a great workout, and an opportunity to push your limits – whether you’re brand new to climbing or have been at it for years. It requires no special equipment or previous experience, making it perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Meet us on the 2nd floor lobby of Unionwest at 5:30pm! As a group, we will head over to Blue Swan Boulders for Open Bouldering Night. Blue Swan Boulders is a 5-7 minute walk from the Downtown Campus. To participate, you must bring your Valencia College or UCF ID.
Are you up for the challenge? Amazing Race: Downtown Orlando is back! You and your friends have from 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 21 to 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 28 to complete as many challenges as you can!
Follow the directions below to officially join the game! This is a single player activity, but you can complete challenges with your friends, just make sure you all have your own Scavify account and each have joined the game. You must complete the challenges in your own account to be considered for one of the giveaways.
Join MSC, SGA and UCF Downtown for their annual Taste of Downtown event. Food trucks will be offering FREE cultural foods so make sure you come hungry!
UCF Campus Activities Board will be hosting music artists ________ at the Addition Financial Arena for students to enjoy a night filled with music from a popular artist with their friends on Thursday, August 22nd. UCF students can receive their ticket at the door of the Addition Financial Arena using their student ID.
Ticket distribution for Valencia College downtown campus students will begin at 5:00pm and end at 6:00pm in UnionWest on the second floor lobby. There are 50 tickets available for Valencia College downtown campus students. You must present a valid downtown campus ID.
Transportation sign-ups will also be provided to the first 50 Downtown Campus students (both UCF and Valencia College) during this time.
